Materials and Construction We Work With

Wound dressing performance is determined by the combination of backing, absorbent core, contact layer and adhesive. We select and combine these materials according to the wound type, exudate level and wear time required by the end user.

  • Backings: polyurethane film, non-woven fabric, PE film and foam laminates.
  • Absorbent cores: polyurethane foam, superabsorbent particles, cellulose and alginate fibre.
  • Contact layers: perforated silicone gel, mesh film and non-adherent wound contact materials.
  • Adhesives: silicone gel, acrylic and hydrocolloid adhesives, selected for skin friendliness and secure fixation.
