READ MOREADVAN Medical (Suzhou Advan Medical Technology CO., LTD) manufactures semi-finished Jumbo Raw Material Roll stock for converters, tape finishers and dressing producers. Our range covers coated medical tape jumbo rolls, backing materials, release liners and medical adhesives, supplied as master rolls for rewinding, slitting, laminating and die-cutting into finished products.
Since 2003 we have produced medical consumables in Suzhou under ISO 13485:2016 quality management, with CE-certified products and Suzhou factories complying with FDA requirements. The jumbo roll programme exists so that our customers can run their own converting lines with a stable, documented input material rather than re-qualifying a new coating source for every batch.
As a Jumbo Raw Material Roll Suppliers, we match product configuration to the application, operating limits, interfaces and acceptance criteria defined for each project.
A jumbo roll is a wide, long master roll of coated or uncoated material that downstream equipment converts into finished medical tape, adhesive bandage, surgical dressing or wound dressing. We coat, dry, laminate and rewind in a cleanroom environment, then supply the roll in a width and core format matched to the customer's slitting or coating line.
Because we also finish medical tape, electrode pads, wound dressings and body patches in the same group, the jumbo roll specification is written from the finished-device requirement backwards: adhesion level, breathability, conformability, water resistance and peel behaviour on the intended skin contact area.
Coated master rolls on non-woven, PE, PVC, cotton, silk-like, PU and foam carriers, used for rewinding and slitting into finished medical tape and adhesive bandage.
Uncoated and coated carrier webs that set breathability, tensile strength, flexibility and water resistance before the adhesive is applied.
Glassine, CCK, PEK and PET film liners that protect the adhesive layer and hold peel force stable through storage and converting.
Pressure-sensitive adhesive systems formulated for skin contact, tack, shear holding and clean removal on the target substrate.
The same adhesive performs differently depending on the carrier and liner it is paired with. We treat backing, adhesive and liner as one system, then confirm the combination against the customer's slitting speed, die-cutting geometry and packaging format.
| Product Type | Typical Carrier | Application Fit | Key Selection Variables |
|---|---|---|---|
| Medical Tape Jumbo Roll | Non-woven, PE, PVC, cotton, silk-like, PU, foam | Rewinding and slitting into finished medical tape, adhesive bandage and fixation tape | Adhesive coat weight, roll width, core diameter, roll length |
| Medical Tape Backing | Non-woven, plastic film, fabric/cloth, foam | Breathable tape, waterproof film tape, high-strength cloth tape, cushioned foam tape | Air permeability, tensile strength, elongation, thickness |
| Release Paper | Glassine, CCK, PEK, PET film | Adhesive protection for tapes, dressings, electrode pads and body patches | Peel force, liner thickness, silicone coating side, dimensional stability |
| Medical Adhesive | Acrylic and rubber-based pressure-sensitive systems | Skin-contact fixation, dressing adhesion, electrode and patch lamination | Tack, peel adhesion, shear holding, skin compatibility |
Jumbo roll stock feeds a wide set of downstream products. We align the master roll specification with the device it will become, so that the converter does not have to compensate for the input material at the slitting or die-cutting stage.
Roll geometry and coating parameters are fixed in writing before production. The table below lists the values we work to; exact figures are set per project rather than applied as a single catalogue standard.
Coating, rewinding, cutting and packaging run in a cleanroom environment under ISO 13485 (Medical GMP) procedures. Our quality control team follows documented inspection procedures across incoming material, in-process coating and final roll release.
Testing covers pH, viscosity and stability checks on adhesive systems, plus microbiological testing where the application requires it. We retain samples and maintain traceability records so that a delivered roll can be traced back to its coating batch and raw material lot.
Acceptance documentation: certificate of analysis, roll identification and batch traceability records, retained samples, and stability or microbiological test data where applicable to the product and target market.
We operate three factories and hold more than 200 SKUs across medical consumables, which lets us support both large-volume and small-batch jumbo roll orders. Customization covers carrier selection, adhesive formulation, roll width, core size, roll length, colour and packaging format.
For customers building their own brand, we also provide ODM/OEM support from material and specification through to packaging design, so the jumbo roll and the finished product are developed against the same requirement set. Rolls are wound on cores, wrapped for moisture and dust protection, and packed for the agreed transport mode.
A workable jumbo roll proposal depends on the converting line and the finished device, not on a generic catalogue number. We prepare the configuration and quotation from the following inputs.
| Input | What It Determines |
|---|---|
| Finished device and skin-contact use | Adhesive family, carrier type and peel target |
| Converting process (rewind, slit, die-cut, laminate) | Winding tension, liner choice and roll geometry |
| Line width and core format | Master roll width, core diameter and roll length |
| Target market and regulatory route | Test scope and documentation package |
| Annual volume and order pattern | Batch size, MOQ and delivery scheduling |
| Packaging and branding requirement | Roll wrap, labelling and outer carton specification |
Where a customer already has a working specification, we match it and supply a sample roll for line trials. Where the specification is still open, we propose a carrier, adhesive and liner combination based on the finished product and adjust after the trial run.
The jumbo roll range shares materials and coating capability with our finished medical tape, wound dressing and electrode pad lines. Converters and brand owners often source both the master roll and the finished item from us to keep the material specification consistent.
It is a wide master roll of coated or uncoated medical material supplied to converters and manufacturers, who rewind, slit, laminate or die-cut it into finished medical tape, adhesive bandage, surgical dressing, wound dressing, electrode pad or body patch.
We coat non-woven fabric, PE film, PVC film, pure cotton, silk-like material, PU film and foam. The carrier is selected against the required breathability, water resistance, tensile strength and conformability of the finished device.
Yes. We supply glassine, CCK, PEK and PET film liners as part of the same roll construction, and we confirm peel force stability so that liner removal behaves consistently on the customer's filling or converting line.
Roll width, core diameter and roll length are set from the customer's slitting or coating line, including edge trim allowance and unwinding equipment. These values are confirmed in writing before coating begins.
Production runs under ISO 13485:2016 procedures with CE-certified products and Suzhou factories complying with FDA requirements. Orders are supported by certificate of analysis, batch traceability records and retained samples, with stability and microbiological testing where the application requires it.
We develop adhesive and carrier combinations against the customer's finished product requirement, and provide ODM/OEM support covering material selection, specification, roll format and packaging. Sampling and revision rounds are agreed at project start.
