Medical Zinc Oxide Tape is a high-strength, non-stretch cotton tape primarily used in sports medicine and orthopedics. The zinc oxide component in the tape gives it mild antibacterial properties, helping to prevent skin irritation while providing maximum support for joints and muscles.

ADVAN Medical (Suzhou Advan Medical Technology CO., LTD) is leading China Zinc Oxide Medical Tape manufacturers and OEM/ODM Zinc Oxide Medical Tape factory, the pioneering enterprise of ADVAN Group, has been a global leader in Medical industry, specializing in high-quality medical equipment and consumables since its establishment in 2003.

Self-adhesive electrode pads are the silent workhorses behind every TENS, EMS, and muscle-stimulation session. They deliver the low-voltage pulses that relieve pain, relax tight muscles, and speed up recovery, but only when the pad stays sticky and conducts evenly. With each use, the conductive hydrogel picks up skin ...
READ MOREA foam dressing is a soft, cushioning wound cover made from medical-grade polyurethane foam. It is designed to absorb exudate, keep the wound bed moist, and protect the healing area from friction and contamination. Because of its versatility, healthcare professionals rely on foam dressings for a wide range of acute an...
READ MOREManaging a wound at home means more than just placing a clean pad over it. The way a dressing fits can determine how quickly the wound heals and whether complications appear. One of the most common problems is a dressing applied too tightly. When a bandage squeezes the wound or the surrounding limb, it can reduce bloo...
READ MORESuzhou Advan Medical Technology Co., Ltd. manufactures zinc oxide medical tape at our Suzhou facilities, where we have produced medical consumables since 2003. Our zinc oxide range covers rigid cotton zinc oxide tape for sports medicine, orthopedics, fixation and retail pharmacy programs, supplied as finished rolls, converted formats and jumbo master rolls.
We work with medical distributors, first-aid suppliers, hospital procurement teams and retail brands that need consistent adhesive performance, repeatable converting and documentation that matches their registration file. As a Zinc Oxide Medical Tape manufacturer, we handle coating, rewinding, cutting and packaging inside our own supply chain.
As a Zinc Oxide Medical Tape Manufacturers, we match product configuration to the application, operating limits, interfaces and acceptance criteria defined for each project.
Zinc oxide tape is a non-stretch, high-strength cotton tape coated with a zinc oxide adhesive. The construction gives firm mechanical support to joints and muscles, holds dressings and devices in place, and resists lifting under movement and moisture. Our range is built around that rigid fixation role rather than elastic compression.
Application fit determines the backing weight, adhesive coat weight and roll format we propose. Zinc oxide tape is chosen where the tape must not stretch: ankle and wrist strapping, patellar and shoulder taping, securing rigid splints, holding gauze and secondary dressings, and fixing tubing or sensors that must stay still.
It is not a substitute for elastic or cohesive bandages. Where the clinical requirement is compression, conformability or self-adhesion, our Medical Tape range includes non-woven, PE, silk and cotton constructions that cover those needs. Zinc oxide tape stays in the rigid fixation category.
Every quotation is written against a defined working point. These are the variables we confirm before production, because each one changes adhesion, hand feel and converting behaviour.
| Parameter | Typical Options | Why It Matters |
|---|---|---|
| Backing | Cotton cloth, bleached or unbleached, various weights | Sets tensile strength, tear behaviour and skin feel |
| Adhesive | Zinc oxide adhesive, natural rubber based, coat weight options | Controls initial tack, peel adhesion and residue |
| Width | Narrow strapping widths through wide fixation widths | Matched to joint size and taping technique |
| Roll length | Short clinical rolls to long dispensing rolls | Affects change frequency and cost per application |
| Core and wind | Core diameter, wind tension, straight or offset cut | Determines unwind force and dispensing reliability |
| Release liner | Liner or linerless, depending on converting route | Affects die-cutting and automated application |
| Packaging | Bulk carton, retail flow wrap, dispenser box | Aligns with shelf format and distribution channel |
Customers who run their own coating, slitting or printing lines can source the upstream materials from us instead of finished tape. This keeps the adhesive chemistry and backing grade consistent across your own converting operation.
Our Suzhou operation runs coating, rewinding, cutting and packaging under one supply chain, supported by three factories that cover both large-volume and small-batch orders. That structure lets us hold a specification steady across repeat orders rather than re-sourcing between runs.
For customers feeding automated lines, we confirm unwind force, core diameter, roll concentricity and splice policy before sampling. Tape that runs cleanly on a manual dispenser can jam a high-speed applicator, so the roll build is treated as part of the specification, not an afterthought.
Production follows ISO 13485:2016 quality management, and our Suzhou factories comply with FDA requirements. Most of our products are CE certified. A dedicated quality inspection team works to written procedures covering incoming material, in-process coating and finished goods.
We run OEM and ODM programs for zinc oxide tape, covering backing selection, adhesive formulation, width and length, core type, printed backing, branded cores, labels and cartons. More than ten technicians work on custom development, and our integrated supply chain keeps new designs inside our own production rather than circulating through external workshops.
Sampling typically takes 3–7 business days for a first article, with 1–3 modification rounds depending on product type and development needs. Custom Pantone colours and bespoke packaging carry higher minimum order quantities than standard specifications, and we confirm those thresholds in writing before the project starts.
A workable proposal needs the working point, not just a product name. These are the inputs that let us fix a specification and quote accurately.
Zinc oxide tape is a consumable rather than installed equipment, but storage and handling decide whether the delivered roll performs as sampled. We recommend cool, dry, ventilated storage away from direct sunlight, with cartons kept sealed until use and stock rotated on a first-in, first-out basis.
For dispensing, we confirm the applicator or dispenser type so that unwind force and core fit match the equipment. Spare cores, cartons and labels can be supplied with repeat orders, and we keep batch records so a later order can be matched to an earlier approved sample.
It is a rigid, non-stretch cotton tape used for joint and muscle strapping, splint and dressing fixation, and securing tubing or sensors that must not move. It provides firm mechanical support rather than elastic compression.
Yes. We supply jumbo master rolls and upstream materials including backing, adhesive and release paper, so customers with their own coating, slitting or printing capacity can keep the same construction across their production.
Widths and lengths are set by the application and the dispensing method. We confirm the required width, roll length, core diameter and wind before sampling, then hold those values as the approved specification for repeat orders.
We run OEM and ODM programs covering printed backing, branded cores, labels, cartons and dispenser formats. Artwork files and Pantone references are confirmed at the sampling stage, and custom colour or packaging work carries a higher minimum order quantity than standard specifications.
Production follows ISO 13485:2016 quality management, our Suzhou factories comply with FDA requirements, and most products are CE certified. Orders are supported by batch records, inspection data, sample retention and the documentation package required for the destination market.
A first sample is normally ready in 3–7 business days, with 1–3 revision rounds depending on complexity. Production lead time depends on the cooperation mode and specification; standard product with customer packaging typically runs 20–50 days, and we confirm the schedule with the quotation.
