Postoperative Excretion Supplies Manufactured by ADVAN Medical

As a Postoperative Excretion Suppliers, we match product configuration to the application, operating limits, interfaces and acceptance criteria defined for each project.

Suzhou Advan Medical Technology Co., Ltd. is a China-based manufacturer of postoperative excretion consumables, producing ostomy pouches, flanges, care accessories, urine bags, urine collectors and incontinence pads for hospitals, medical distributors and home-care brands. Our Suzhou operation has supplied medical consumables since 2003 and exports to more than 60 countries across Southeast Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Russia, South America and Oceania.

This range covers the collection, containment and skin-protection products used after stoma surgery, urological procedures and long-term incontinence care. We produce the full Postoperative Excretion family in-house, from hydrocolloid barrier formulation and film lamination through to pouch welding, cutting and cleanroom packaging.

Manufacturing position: 20+ years in medical consumables, 3 factories, integrated supply chain from raw material to finished pouch, ISO 13485:2016 quality management, CE-certified product lines and Suzhou factories complying with FDA requirements.

Our Postoperative Excretion Product Range

Each child category addresses a different point in the care pathway. We configure them as a coordinated system so that pouch, flange and accessory dimensions and adhesion chemistry work together on the same patient.

Product Range Typical Application Key Configuration Variables
Ostomy Bag Colostomy, ileostomy and urostomy output collection; one-piece and two-piece systems Outer layer (non-woven, mesh membrane), seal type (twist-tie, clamp, Velcro), closed or drainable, infant sizes
Ostomy Flange Skin barrier and coupling ring for two-piece systems; convex support for flush or retracted stomas Flat or convex profile, hydrocolloid barrier thickness, flange diameter and coupling fit
Ostomy Care Accessory Skin protection, sealing and hygiene between pouch changes Barrier rings, ostomy powder, clips, washing bottles, waterproof shower covers
Urine Bag Postoperative urinary drainage in wards and recovery rooms 2000 ml and other capacities, sterile or non-sterile, drainage tube and outlet design
Urine Collector Extended collection and bedside monitoring of output volume Bag or bottle format, hanging system, graduated markings, anti-reflux options
Incontinent Pad Bed and chair protection for immobile or postoperative patients Absorbency level, backing film, size, adhesive wings or underpad format

Ostomy Bags: Material Systems and Seal Options

An ostomy pouch is a multi-layer system that must block odour, hold a hydrocolloid skin barrier, resist leakage and stay comfortable against the abdomen. We build the pouch around four material groups: the hydrocolloid skin barrier or chassis, the EVA/PVDC/PE bag membrane, the non-woven comfort layer and the activated carbon odour filter.

  • One-piece construction: barrier and pouch permanently joined — lighter and thinner for daily wear.
  • Two-piece construction: pouch couples to a flange; the barrier can remain on skin for several days while only the pouch is changed, reducing skin pulling.
  • Seal systems: twist-tie, clamp and Velcro closures across single-side and double-side non-woven or mesh membrane outer layers.
  • Closed pouches: for predictable, lower-volume output where emptying is not required.
  • Infant and paediatric pouches: reduced dimensions and softer barrier for neonatal and paediatric stoma care.

Flanges, Convex Barriers and Skin Protection

The flange determines how well the appliance stays sealed. We supply flat and convex ostomy barrier wafers in hydrocolloid, with the convex profile used where the stoma sits flush with or below the skin surface. Barrier thickness, flange diameter and coupling geometry are matched to the pouch series so that the two-piece system locks without play.

Accessories complete the seal and protect peristomal skin: barrier rings, ostomy powder, ostomy clips, washing bottles and adjustable waterproof shower covers. These items are specified together with the pouch and flange so a distributor can offer a complete, dimensionally consistent kit rather than mixed components.

Urine Bags, Collectors and Incontinence Pads

For postoperative urinary care we produce 2000 ml disposable urinary drainage bags in sterile and non-sterile versions, together with urine collectors and incontinence pads. These products are specified by capacity, sterility status, tube and outlet configuration, hanging method and graduated volume markings.

  • Drainage bag capacity and tubing length matched to bed height and catheter position.
  • Sterile or non-sterile presentation according to ward protocol.
  • Anti-reflux and outlet valve options for extended bedside use.
  • Incontinence pads selected by absorbency, size and backing film for bed or chair protection.

Customization and OEM/ODM Scope

We operate as an OEM/ODM manufacturer for this category. Customization covers shape, colour and logo design, material selection, specification and size, and packaging format. Because our supply chain runs from raw material to finished product inside our own factories, new designs and tooling stay within our production control.

Product design

Pouch geometry, barrier formulation and seal type developed against the target patient group and market.

Branding

Logo, colour and printed packaging applied to finished pouches and bags.

Packaging

Retail, hospital or bulk presentation, including sterile barrier formats where required.

Quality Control and Compliance

Production follows ISO 13485:2016 procedures, with a dedicated quality inspection team applying documented checks from incoming material through to finished goods. Most products in our range are CE certified, and our Suzhou factories comply with FDA requirements. Stability testing, microbiological testing, sample retention and traceability records support the documentation package supplied with each order.

Where a project requires regulatory documentation for a specific market, we produce the technical file content and declarations aligned to that destination. Raw material control for adhesive, backing and release components is handled through our Jumbo Raw Material Roll operation, which keeps material lots traceable back to the finished pouch.

Information We Use to Configure Your Solution

A workable quotation depends on the clinical use, the market and the packaging format. The following inputs let us fix the specification, tooling and inspection plan before sampling.

Project Input What It Determines
Patient group and output type Pouch size, barrier formulation, closed vs drainable, paediatric vs adult
One-piece or two-piece system Whether a flange is supplied and how coupling dimensions are set
Stoma profile Flat or convex barrier, barrier thickness, flange diameter
Capacity and sterility Urine bag volume, sterile or non-sterile presentation, outlet type
Branding and packaging Print artwork, retail or bulk carton, language and labelling
Target market and quantity Documentation set, MOQ level, sampling plan and delivery schedule

Sampling typically runs 3–7 business days for a first sample, with 1–3 modification rounds depending on product complexity. Minimum order quantities start from 1,000–10,000 units per specification for consumables, with higher thresholds for Pantone colour matching and custom printed packaging.

Related Manufacturing Capability

Adhesive and film competence underpins this category. Our Medical Tape range and the Wound Dressing range share the same coating, lamination and converting equipment used for ostomy barriers and pouch films, which is how we keep adhesion performance consistent between product families.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can ADVAN Medical produce a complete ostomy kit under one brand?

Yes. We manufacture pouches, flanges, barrier rings, powder, clips, washing bottles and shower covers, so a distributor can launch a coordinated kit with matched coupling dimensions and consistent packaging artwork.

Do you supply both one-piece and two-piece ostomy systems?

We produce one-piece pouches with twist-tie, clamp and Velcro seals, closed pouches, infant pouches, and two-piece systems using flat or convex hydrocolloid flanges. The choice is driven by stoma profile, output volume and how often the patient changes the appliance.

What urine bag capacities and formats are available?

Our urinary drainage range includes 2000 ml disposable bags in sterile and non-sterile versions, plus urine collectors and incontinence pads. Capacity, tubing, outlet valve and hanging method are specified per project.

Which quality and compliance standards apply?

Production follows ISO 13485:2016 quality management procedures. Most products are CE certified, and our Suzhou factories comply with FDA requirements. Stability, microbiological and traceability records accompany the shipment documentation.

How is packaging and delivery scope defined?

Packaging is agreed at quotation stage — retail carton, hospital bulk or sterile barrier format — together with labelling language and carton configuration. Delivery schedules are confirmed against the specification and quantity once sampling is approved.

Can you match an existing product already on the market?

Send the reference sample, dimensions and material description. We reverse-engineer the barrier formulation, film structure and seal type, then produce a matched sample for approval before mass production.
