Splint is a medical device used to support, protect, and immobilize injured body parts such as fractures, sprains, or tendon strains. Unlike a cast that completely wraps around a limb, a splint is non-circumferential, meaning it typically only covers a portion of the limb and is secured with straps or bandages.

Negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) rests on a simple principle: hold a controlled vacuum against a wound bed and let a porous interface material translate that vacuum into mechanical and biological effects. The vacuum source is largely standardized; the interface is not. Foam sponges and gauze kits both transmit p...
READ MOREMedical adhesive-related skin injury, usually shortened to MARSI, is one of the most preventable complications in modern patient care, yet it still appears in ward audits, neonatal units and home-care visits every week. The damage is rarely caused by one dramatic event: it develops when an adhesive is chosen for conve...
READ MOREAn open chest wound that stays open lets air move in and out of the pleural space with every breath. A wound sealed too completely can trap that same air and push the patient toward a tension pneumothorax. Chest seal patches sit exactly on that line. For decades the field answer was petroleum gauze taped on three side...
READ MOREADVAN Medical (Suzhou Advan Medical Technology Co., Ltd.) manufactures and exports limbs splints as part of our rehabilitation braces range. Our current splint line centers on malleable aluminum finger splints with sponge padding, supplied in single-piece, double-piece and four-piece configurations across three sizes, together with finger splint immobilizers and frog-shape stabilizers for mallet finger, sprains, fractures, arthritis and trigger finger support.
We are a China Limbs Splint manufacturer serving hospitals, first-aid suppliers, medical distributors and retail brands. Our Suzhou operation covers first-aid, wound dressing, sport bandages, family healthcare and general medical consumables, with OEM/ODM support from material and size selection through to packaging.
As a Limbs Splint Manufacturers, we match product configuration to the application, operating limits, interfaces and acceptance criteria defined for each project.
A splint is a non-circumferential support device: it covers part of the limb and is held with straps or bandages rather than fully wrapping it. That construction allows controlled immobilization while leaving room for swelling assessment, which is why splints are used in emergency care, fracture and sprain management, tendon strain support and post-operative rehabilitation.
Our splint range is built around bendable aluminum cores and high-density sponge liners. The aluminum strip is malleable so it can be shaped to the finger or limb contour at the point of application, while the sponge liner distributes pressure and cushions the skin. We supply these as finished, retail-ready or bulk clinical items depending on the order.
One malleable aluminum strip with sponge padding. Three sizes. Suited to straightforward finger immobilization and clinic or first-aid use.
Two aluminum elements for greater shape control along the finger. Three sizes. Used where more support along the digit is required.
Four aluminum segments for extended coverage and finer bending adjustment. Three sizes. Suited to longer digits and multi-joint support.
Bendable aluminum support with a comfort high-density sponge liner for arthritis, sprains, fractures and trigger finger. Three sizes.
Frog-shape bendable aluminum stabilizer with sponge liner for mallet finger, arthritis and sprained or broken fingers. Three length sizes.
Splint selection follows the injury site, the required support length and how long the device will stay in place. Finger splints are the most common configuration in our range because they address the highest-volume presentations: mallet finger, trigger finger, sprains, minor fractures and arthritic joint support.
| Product Type | Typical Application | Configuration Focus | Channel Fit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Single-piece aluminum finger splint | Basic finger immobilization, first-aid response | One bendable strip, sponge padding, 3 sizes | First-aid kits, clinics, retail |
| Double-piece aluminum finger splint | Sprains and strains needing longer digit support | Two aluminum elements, 3 sizes | Hospitals, distributors |
| Four-piece aluminum finger splint | Extended coverage, multi-joint finger support | Four segments, 3 sizes | Hospitals, rehabilitation suppliers |
| Finger splint immobilizer | Arthritis, sprains, fractures, trigger finger | Bendable aluminum, high-density sponge liner, 3 sizes | Retail brands, home healthcare |
| Frog-shape finger stabilizer | Mallet finger, sprained or broken fingers | Frog-shape bendable aluminum, 3 length sizes | Clinics, rehabilitation, distributors |
The two functional materials in a padded splint are the aluminum core and the liner. Aluminum grade and strip thickness determine how much force is needed to bend the splint and how well it holds the shape after fitting. Sponge density determines cushioning and how the load is spread across the skin.
We build splint orders around the specification the customer needs rather than a single fixed catalogue item. From shape, color and logo design to material, specification, size and packaging, our one-stop customization service covers the parameters that define a private-label splint line.
Splint production runs through the same quality system as our other medical consumables. Our quality control team follows documented inspection procedures to keep output aligned with ISO 13485:2016, and our Suzhou factories comply with FDA requirements. Most of our products are CE certified.
For splint orders, the inspection points that matter are aluminum strip consistency, sponge bonding, edge finish, size accuracy and packaging integrity. We retain samples and maintain traceability so a delivered batch can be referenced against its production record.
Splints are frequently ordered alongside the tapes, dressings and bandages used to secure and manage the injury. Because we produce these in the same operation, a splint programme can be combined with adjacent items in one shipment.
A splint quotation is only accurate when the specification is fixed. We prepare the configuration and price from the following project inputs.
| Project Input | What We Need From You | How We Use It |
|---|---|---|
| Product type | Single, double or four-piece; straight or frog-shape | Sets the aluminum layout and tooling |
| Size set | Required sizes and length coverage | Defines the size matrix and pack assortment |
| Materials | Aluminum thickness preference, sponge density | Determines bending force and cushioning |
| Branding | Logo, color, labelling artwork | Drives print and packaging setup |
| Packaging | Retail, clinical bulk or kit inclusion | Sets pack format and carton configuration |
| Target market | Destination country and regulatory route | Aligns documentation with the market |
| Order quantity | Volume per specification and per packaging style | Confirms MOQ and production planning |
We confirm requirements with samples, quotations and project planning before production starts. Standard first samples take 3–7 business days, with 1–3 modification rounds available depending on product type and R&D needs. Sampling fees may apply for customized items and offset R&D, lab and raw material costs.
Minimum order quantity for our medical consumables range starts at 1,000–10,000 units per specification. Pantone color customization starts at 20,000 units, and customized packaging begins at 100,000 units per packaging style. Production lead time depends on the cooperation mode: turnkey projects typically run 30–60 days, standard product with packaging 20–50 days, and client-supplied packaging or raw materials 20–40 days.
We manufacture malleable aluminum finger splints in single-piece, double-piece and four-piece configurations, each in three sizes, plus a finger splint immobilizer with a high-density sponge liner and a frog-shape finger stabilizer in three length sizes.
